A Fine Art photographer and native Torontonian whose biography appears in the Canadian Who’s Who, I’ve been pursuing the art of black and white imagery since 1991. As a recipient of a prominent $5000 Kodak Award in 1992, my work has been widely published in many periodicals, including British Vogue editorial. I mounted my first solo exhibition at Toronto’s Upper Canada Brewery Alternative Gallery in 1994 as part of their continued support of new artists, and I’ve hung solo exhibitions at Here and Now Gallery, Skylight Gallery, The Carrot Gallery, and Peterson Fine Art Gallery (as part of Contact 2000) in Toronto since then. My images appeared regularly in the architectural column "Toronto By Lens" of The Globe & Mail for five years, and I was also featured in two issues of The Next City magazine. I’ve been represented by Tatar|Alexander PhotoGallery as well as Archive Gallery of Toronto, Aperture Gallery of the U.K., and currently, by ValenArt & Associates of Toronto, Barebulb Galleries of South Africa, Shelley Lambe Fine Art of Toronto, and ibid inc., of Chicago. My work can be seen in several corporate and private collections around the city, Additionally, my images have been seen in both KPMG and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter's worldwide print campaigns out of New York. More recently, my work has been featured in Polestar Calendars, on the covers of The Hangdog's CD, "Beware of Dog" and Christopher Turner's "The Collaborative Viola" (as seen in the thumbnails below), and have been sold and shown at Michael Stadtlander's highly-coveted charity auction for Artistic Youth at Eigensinn Farm, the Bernardo Marigman Gallery in Chicago, and again in auction for the Bereaved Families of Ontario and The National Advertising Benevolent Society.
